COMMON NAME: Common name

CATEGORIES: Beach

These attractive small parrots have olive-green and yellow colouring with a distinctive dark blue edge on the front of their wings.

They can be seen in pairs or groups, foraging on the ground for seeds.

They are found in a range of habitats including coastal scrubland and dunes.
