Horsfield’s Bronze Cuckoo
COMMON NAME: Horsfield’s Bronze Cuckoo
CATEGORIES: Bush
These birds, with a lovely iridescent green back, are very difficult to spot.
You are more likely to hear their repetitive descending call, than to actually see them.
They can be found in bush in the foredunes, along the Roy Henderson track and around the village.
When they arrive in town, you know that summer is on its way.
