Red-browed Finch
COMMON NAME: Red-browed Finch
CATEGORIES: Bush
These small finches are olive green on top with distinctive red eyebrows, bill and rump.
They are most visible when they on the ground foraging for seeds.
They feed in small groups on the verges of the road to the inlet, near dense vegetation to which they can retreat for safety.
Despite their bright red highlights, they are well camouflaged and very difficult to spot.
