Wedge-tailed Eagle


COMMON NAME: Wedge-tailed Eagle

CATEGORIES: Beach Bush Inlet Farmland

These are the largest of the raptors seen in this area.

They have a vast wingspan, sometimes measuring over two metres.

Often in pairs, they can be seen soaring over the village, inlet and beach.

Identified by their distinctive diamond shaped tail.
