Dear SPCG members and friends of Sandy Point,
The Sandy Point Community Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 10am Sunday 20 September 2026 at the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The AGM is an important opportunity to reflect on the past year, present financial and operational reports, and elect the new committee to lead us forward. You can find the agenda here and the minutes from the last AGM here
Committee Nominations
We encourage all eligible members to consider nominating for a position on the committee. It’s a great opportunity to take an active role in guiding our group and contributing to the Sandy Point community.

Treasurer
General Committee Members
You may nominate yourself or another financial member (with their consent) for any of these positions. The nomination form can be found here. Nominations must be signed by the nominee and two financial members and submitted to [email protected] no later than 11 September 2026. If you would like to speak to someone about joining the Committee, please contact me at [email protected].
Remote Online attendance
If you are unable to attend in person, you can attend the AGM and the Open Forum online using Zoom. If you would like to attend the AGM via Zoom, you will need to register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Proxy Nominees
If you are unable to attend either in person or via Zoom, you can nominate another member to attend as your proxy. Please complete the proxy nomination form available here. This can be lodged in person on the day before the meeting starts, or via email 24 hours before the start of the meeting at [email protected]
