- Only pre-booked and pre-paid sites will be allocated and reserved a site/s - Proof of Public Liability Insurance cover is essential and must be provided prior to booking confirmation - All food vendors must comply with Food Safety Certification - All food vendors must be registered with Food Trader (Victoria) - Traffic management will be in place for safety reasons and all traffic signs must be obeyed - All accidents and incidents must be reported immediately to the Foodies and Artisans Market Manager on duty at the time of the incident - The market will be cancelled on days rated as catastrophic in the South Gippsland district. - It is the vendors obligation to ensure that all South Gippsland Council and Government guidelines and health regulations are met, that all appropriate licenses are obtained, that the set up of the stall meets all South Gippsland Council, health and safety requirements and that these obligations are met at all times and are adhered to. - The liability to comply with all laws falls on the vendor. The organisers of the Foodies and Artisans market assume no liability if stall holders do not comply with their legal obligations. - Vendors are expected to act in a professional manner at all times. The organisers of the Foodies and Artisans market will not tolerate any offensive comments, unwarranted gossip or bad behaviour. - Vendors must not smoke in the market precinct and not within ten meters of any stall in the market precinct. - Set up from 2:00pm outside Community Centre (Church Street, grassed area and road/car park) - Set up from 3:00pm inside Community Centre - Vendor vehicles CANNOT be driven on the Community Centre grassed area at any time - All marquees MUST be free standing; only weights/sand bags to be used – NO PEGS - Electrical equipment MUST have current ‘test & tag’ certification - Trade commences at 4pm - Vendors are required to adhere to the Government Covid-19 regulations for the retail industry - Car access to residents’ driveways must be maintained at all times - Vendors are not to play music during trading period - Market Officials have the right to eject a stallholder/s if a dispute arises - Break-down of site from 9pm unless advised by a Market Official - All rubbish generated must be placed in allocated bins/skip or taken away by each vendor
