COMMON NAME: Brown Thornbill

CATEGORIES: Bush

Tiny and mellifluous bush birds that have a preference for dense scrub.

You will usually hear them before you see them.

They hop through the undergrowth in small flocks, twittering as they glean insects.

They never seem to stop moving.

Often spotted in the company of Scrubwrens and Fairywrens.

A frequent visitor to the birdbath.
