Crimson Rosella
COMMON NAME: Crimson Rosella
CATEGORIES: Bush
Medium sized colourful parrots, the adults have striking red and blue plumage.
By contrast, immature birds are mainly green and look totally different.
Usually in pairs or small groups, often you can hear them before you see them.
You may see debris falling from a tree, and if you look up you can spot them feeding on seeds and flowers.
