Pacific Gull

Pacific Gull at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: Pacific Gull

CATEGORIES: Beach Inlet

A distinctive very large black and white seagull.

They have massive yellow bills with a lovely dab of bright red lipstick on the end.

Usually they are spotted singularly or in pairs. However, you are likely to see a mob of them at the inlet if the fishing has been good and the fisherfolk are gutting their catch.
