Silvereye

Silvereye at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: Silvereye

CATEGORIES: Bush

Seasonal visitors to Sandy Point, you can see these very small birds in the warmer weather.

Busy groups can be spotted moving through the foliage while foraging.

With a distinctive white eye ring, you will be alerted to their presence by their constant chatter.

They can be found throughout the village, where they are regular visitors to birdbaths.

They also favour the bush along the inlet.
