Silver Gull

COMMON NAME: Silver Gull

CATEGORIES: Beach Inlet

Ubiquitous birds that are commonly known as seagulls.

These grey and white gulls are much smaller than Pacific Gulls that are also seen around Sandy Point.

Silver Gulls can be seen at the beach, or hanging around the inlet waiting for scraps from fisherfolk.

They are often seen in groups, sometimes with other gulls and terns.
