Spotted Pardalote

Spotted Pardalote at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: Spotted Pardalote

CATEGORIES: Bush

These tiny, colourful birds are intricately patterned.

They are found high up in gum trees, where they glean lerps and psyllids.

You are more likely to hear their loud monotonous call, rather than see them.

However, you may be lucky and spot one when it comes down for a quick drink at a birdbath.
