COMMON NAME: White-necked Heron

CATEGORIES: Farmland

Also known as the Pacific Heron, these birds can occasionally be spotted in the fields as you enter the village.

They will typically only be around after rain, as they feed near shallow fresh water.

They are a larger heron with a distinctive white neck and blue-grey body.
