White-fronted Chat at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: White-fronted Chat

CATEGORIES: Beach Inlet

These are tiny black, grey and white birds.

The male has a distinctive white face bordered by a black wimple, while the female is less showy.

They are usually seen in pairs or small groups.

They like to sit up on top of vegetation to survey their surroundings.
