Common Blackbird
COMMON NAME: Common Blackbird
CATEGORIES: Bush
These introduced birds can be seen around the village and are regular visitors to birdbaths.
They are renowned for building their nests in woodpiles.
While the male is black with a striking yellow- orange bill, the female is actually dark brown.
A beautiful and familiar songster.
