Crescent Honeyeater
COMMON NAME: Crescent Honeyeater
CATEGORIES: Bush
Occasionally seen around Sandy Point, you are most likely to spot them in winter in bush around the inlet or in the koala plantation.
They like to perch at the top of trees and call in a distinctive and rather loud voice for such a small bird.
The male is attractive with a black collar outlined in white and yellow patches on the wings.
