Grey Shrike-Thrush
COMMON NAME: Grey Shrike-Thrush
CATEGORIES: Bush
A beautiful songster, you can hear the melodious call of the Grey Shrikethrush emanating from the gardens of Sandy Point and surrounding bush.
As they feed on insects, typically you’ll spot them on or low to the ground.
Their grey-brown plumage affords great camouflage.
If you’re lucky, one of these inquisitive birds may come and check you out with their large puppy-like eyes.
