House Sparrow at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: House Sparrow

CATEGORIES: Bush Farmland

This is a thriving introduced species.

These small brown birds can be seen around Sandy Point in large flocks.

They are seed feeding finches and are consequently often seen on the ground.

They also like to rest on power lines, and can be spotted visiting local birdbaths.
