New Holland Honeyeater

New Holland Honeyeater at Sandy Point

COMMON NAME: New Holland Honeyeater

CATEGORIES: Bush

New Holland Honeyeaters are distinctive black, white and yellow birds, that have a loud repetitive call.

They are frequent visitors to gardens and birdbaths around the village.

Often in groups, they are bossy little birds that don’t like to share nectar sources or bath water.

They can be observed having noisy disputes with other birds.
