Olive Whistler
COMMON NAME: Olive Whistler
CATEGORIES: Bush
A stocky and somewhat plain bird, Olive Whistlers are found in dense scrub and amongst tea tree where they search for insects.
Their mournful cry can be heard in the foreshore scrub and bush along the inlet.
You are more likely to hear than see an Olive Whistler, as they are very shy.
